Fundraisers
In order to provide financial support to our classrooms, teachers and community in a variety of ways, we must fundraise. We try to keep our fundraisers to a minimum and make them fun, community-driven and/or mission-based. Our fundraisers include:

Fun Run – Taking place in May, the fun run makes up the majority of our funds raised and it couldn’t be simpler! Before the run, your child will be asked to collect pledges based on how many laps they believe they can run in during their 30 minute Fun Run (or they can collect a flat donation). This is a healthy, fun event for kids to participate in and the overhead is minimal, making it a significant and easy fundraiser!

Box Tops for Education – If you buy products with BoxTop labels, make sure to scan your receipts to the new Box Tops App. More info can be found here: https://www.boxtops4education.com/

Coca-Cola give- If you buy any Coca-cola products such as Coke, Minute Maid, Dasani water or Powerade, simply go to https://us.coca-cola.com/give/schools/ , scan your bottle top or bulk packaging label and the Coca-cola corporation will donate a small percentage back to our school.​

Community Nights – A few times a year, we host community nights at a local restaurant which supports the PAC by donating 10% of sales back to Hyalite!

Smith’s Loyalty Card – If you shop at Smith's, support the PAC! Head over to https://www.smithsfoodanddrug.com/ and sign-in to your grocery card account, then go to account settings -> community rewards and find Hyalite Elementary School PAC (Organization #:26465). To link your Smith’s grocery card you must have your rewards card number. If you use your phone number at checkout and need your card number, call 800-576-4377 and select option 3 to get your Smith’s rewards card number.​

School Spirit Apparel – Throughout the year, we have pop up sales on the playground to sell Hyalite Hiker shirts, sweatshirts, and hats. We keep prices low, at our own cost, so that every child can have a bit of school spirit to wear. Check out online store!

Lip Sync for Literacy – The Lip Sync battle is held as a friendly competition between Hyalite and Meadowlark staff to raise money for books! Funds are raised through ticketed admission, donations throughout the event and a silent auction. This is a fantastically fun event and kids truly enjoy watching their teachers up on stage.
