WHAT IS THE PAC?
The Hyalite Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is an organization run by parents and guardians who work to partner with our school and community to enrich and enhance our children’s educational experience at Hyalite Elementary School.
To accomplish these goals, the Hyalite PAC seeks volunteer support from community and families as well as conducts fundraisers with proceeds to be spent on:
-
Classroom enrichment grants including field trips, unique experiences, and classroom materials.
-
Community building through free and low-cost family events and programming such as family movie night
-
Parent education, outreach, and speaker presentations through monthly newsletters and Community PAC Meetings
-
School improvement in the form of both curriculum enhancement like art, language and STEAM programs and facilities improvement like playground equipment, sculptures and more.
-
Outreach to families in need through food drives, snack milk donations and more.
To see what we accomplished last year including our fundraising and budget goals, check out our annual report.
What are we working on this year?
Implementing consistent art education, bringing Montana Outdoor Science School (MOSS) lessons into classrooms, building a new playground web and shade structure
