Thanks to generous support from the Hyalite PAC, we are able to offer after school STEAM Clubs! STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. In STEAM Club we explore each of these subjects using robotics coding, chemistry, physics, biology and more in a hands-on, age appropriate way.
Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we have not been able to offer our usual after school programming. We hope to get this started up again in Fall 2021. For now, we've gotten a little creative ...
The PAC has partnered up with the Montana Outdoor Science School (MOSS) to bring every Third Grader the opportunity to participate in an after school science program on the topic of "Airborne Engineers". Students will investigate the amazing world of birds, from nests to flight to beaks, while participating in fun hands-on engineering challenges! Programs will be taught by the amazing instructors from MOSS, and will meet after school in the field at 3:15. Groups may walk to nearby parks during their investigations, but will return to Hyalite for a 5:15 pickup at the gate.
Students can sign up for one session. which is one day a week, for 2 consecutive weeks:
Session 1: Thursdays, April 15 & 22
Session 2: Thursdays, April 29 & May 6
Session 3: Mondays, May 10 & 17
A max of 17 students with 2 instructors can be in each session. Spots in each session are first come, first served. However, there are enough spots between all of these sessions for EVERY third grader to participate, and we would encourage you to sign up for this amazing opportunity at NO COST to you.
These science lessons will be outside for the full 2 hours, so please make sure your child is dressed appropriately.

More detailed info will come after your registration!
